“Laissez Les Bon Temp Rouler..”
Down in New Orleans folds have a local creole saying: "Laissez Les Bon Temp Rouler..;"simply put, "let the good times roll." With that in mind, The Saucecats' music plays tribute to a musical genre seldom heard in this part of our country. Their special blend of instruments featuring horns, accordion, and a zydeco rubboard creates 'the sauce' in The Saucecats. We perform a musical show that pleases all generations, where grandparents can bring their grandkids, and where teenage and college students all come together singing, dancing, and well... just having a great time!
The Saucecats are professionals and have entertained small groups and large festival crowds alike. We have opened shows for national artists such as Dr. John, Dickey Betts, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds; as well as a host of blues artists such as Larry McCray, Carl Weathersby, Bernard Allison, Tommy Castro, and many more.
If your group or organization is looking for a show that is high energy, fun and uplifting, then look no further; it's a year round Mardi Gras celebration with The Saucecats.
